It's always the season to help those in need.

There is a young man in the hard-working town of Pittsburgh that needs your help. 20 year old Sidney Crosby needs your facial hair to have a simple playoff beard. Something many of us take for granted. The embarrassing pain young Sidney has felt over the past Springs is indescribable. Taking to the ice with a whispy skeeze-stache and spatterings of darkened peach-fuzz, Crosby is comforted by little less than ten full strands.

His teammates see his suffering more than anybody. "Sad. You see him score the goal, but you know he's crying inside." says close friend Evgeni Malkin. "One day he came in with pipe cleaners adhered to his face with spirit gum. We all tried not to notice, but eventually Gary [Roberts] had enough and took him aside. He's been watching a lot of Lifetime." said defenseman Ryan Whitney.

There are those of us who have so much. Please, dig a little deeper. Give a little more.

He may be able to win an Art Ross, a Hart Trophy, and quite possibly be the youngest Stanley Cup captain in history, but in so many ways he is in need of our help.
